I was very very happy to find the "clangabuya.com". But very sad that Tinabal1 wrongly made some inputs. I had my childhood and college days in what you called sitio caimito and now called it Gabuya compound (thanks). I have remembered that I am among the many children who had climbed and gathered caimito fruits. There were caimitos we called "tapul";some were small and sweets,I think there were 7 to 10 caimitos during my childhood days. I remembered that we used to play with the caimito skins (after eating) and threw it to my cousins. Now for the corrections and to make things right.....My grandma "Arcadia Cabreros" was married to "Manuel Gabuya". An Eustaquio Cabaluna married two of my grandma's sister (of course one at a time, when one died after the other). So Eustaquio Cabaluna was not Eustaquio Gabuya.Hope that those who visit this site will note the corrections. Most of my relatives still lives there at present:aunts, cousins, brother and sister, niece and nephews. I will made mor inputs on the nice and happy place from time to time.

Stayed here for 2 days. The hotel actually covers only some 14 floors of this highrise. There also are a school, travel agency, several other companies and even a mini convention center (top floor) housed in this place. The hotel has a fairly decent restaurant on the 2nd floor, as well as a small business center and internet café for guests. The foyer is small and busy, since the building shares so many functions. The rooms are reasonable, though, and start at around php2500/night, incl. breakfast for 2. Location is good and about 10 mins. walk from the big Ayala Center Mall. Lots of good little restaurants at walking distance. Tourists may want to go to the top floor and enjoy the view in all directions over the city.

Stayed here for 2 days. Small room indeed, but cheap. Elevator available. Affordable at about php2000 per night. At that price a pretty decent breakfast for 2 is included. Personnel was very friendly. Location is excellent!
